Andrews:
William "Bill" Beckman Haselden, 69, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017, at Tidelands Georgetown Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Haselden was born October 30, 1948, in Colorado Springs, CO, a son of the late Willie Beckman Haselden and Lillian Irene Hicks Haselden. He grew up in Andrews after moving from Las Vegas, NV, graduated from Andrews High School and attended Horry/Georgetown Technical College. Mr. Haselden was an employee for many years with Kemet Electronics Corporation out of Greenville. He had a passion for Classic Cars, especially his restored Chevrolet pickup. He also loved target shooting and coin collecting. Mr. Haselden was a former member of Andrews Presbyterian Church. During his father's illness. he was a primary caregiver assisting his mother. He was a much loved son, father, brother and grandfather. He is now reunited with his family in eternal peace.
Surviving are: a son, William Blakeley Haselden of Andrews; a daughter, Meri Ashley Wills (Ken) of Greenville; a sister, Sharon H. Smith (Jimmy) of Andrews; a granddaughter, Holly Hope Wills; and the children's mother, Donna Cox Haselden.
Graveside Services will be two o'clock Thursday afternoon, November 30, 2017, at Andrews Memorial Cemetery. Officiating will be the Rev. William Clinton Stockton, Krista Abbitt and Ken Wills.
The family will receive friends following the service at the cemetery.
