Georgetown:
William "Bubba" Reed Mozley, 76, died Friday, September 22, 2017, at his residence in Georgetown.
Mr. Mozley was born in Panama City, FL on December 28, 1940, the son of the late William Worth Mozley and Annie Lou Elizabeth Reed Mozley. He grew up in Georgetown and graduated from Winyah High School. Mr. Mozley started working for International Paper Company in 1960 and worked his way up to Mill Manager at Inland Board and Packaging in Newport, IN. Mr. Mozley retired to Pawleys Island and later moved to Georgetown. He was a member of Herbert United Memorial Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Mozley was predeceased by: a sister, Patricia Mozley Johnson.
Survivors are: two daughters, Kevin Elizabeth Rowe (Doug) of Rockville, IN and Beatrice Eve Myers of Terre Haute, IN; five grandchildren, Jason Westrick (Katherine), Sarah Westrick Pion (Cory), Lucas William Rowe, Travis Myers and Joseph Myers (Desiree); five great-grandchildren, Lillian, Samantha, Augusta, Esther and Emily; a sister, Marcia Mozley Quinn of Hampton, VA; three nieces; a nephew; and a longtime companion, Kay Biser of Pawleys Island.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon, September 27, 2017, at the residence, 283 Bragdon Avenue in Georgetown, from three until six o'clock.
