Georgetown:
Willie "Bubba" Ernest Morris, Jr., 72, died Monday, September 25, 2017, at a relative's residence.
Mr. Morris was born in Conway on February 14, 1945, the son of the late Willie Earnest Morris and Nella Mae Sarvis Morris. He lived in Georgetown until his parents moved to Florida and graduated high school in Florida. Mr. Morris returned to Georgetown and worked as a truck driver for Georgetown Steel for thirty-four years until retiring in 2001. He served in the National Guard during the Viet Nam War.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Morris is predeceased by: a sister, Priscilla Buchanan.
Surviving are: a sister, Willa St. Cyr (Louis) of Wingdale, NY; a niece, Robin Rabideau of Pleasant Valley, NY; and two nephews, Glenn St. Cyr of Wingdale, NY and Mike Lynn of Holly Hill, FL.
Funeral Services will be eleven o'clock Friday morning, September 29, 2017, at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home. Officiating will be the Rev. Billy Anderson. Burial will follow in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday morning at the Georgetown Chapel of Mayer Funeral Home from ten until eleven o'clock.
