Mr. Ragland was born in Andrews on May 11, 1942, a son of the late Willis Leon "Pete" Ragland and Genevieve Estelle Moore Ragland. Surviving are: his wife of Pawleys Island; a son Montgomery Lee Ragland of Georgetown; and a daughter Elizabeth Blair Ragland of Andrews; two grandchildren, Austin son of Blair and Barrett Lee son of Montgomery..
