After 3 years with the Coca Cola Company as a Unit Leader –Chemistry & Bacteriology he joined Eastman Kodak, where he worked for 35 years in various sales and management positions. The majority of his career was spent in the Philadelphia area where he was active in a number of industry associations including the Chemical Club of Philadelphia, Philadelphia Coatings Society, and the Philadelphia Food Technology Group. Win retired to Litchfield Beach, an area he loved, and immediately became involved in the Litchfield Beach Property Owner's Association. He served as Vice President of the LBPOA for one term and as President for three terms and continued on for an additional 7 years on the Board of directors. Win continued to actively serve as President of the Waccamaw Neck Council of Property Owners for multiple terms, and assisted as part of the Education Strategic Planning Committee, the Economic Planning Commission, and the Solid Waste Commission. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, and his beloved brothers Raymond R. Cooke Jr. and Lucius Cooke. He is survived by: Patricia, his wife and life partner for 59 years; 3 children, Winborn Cooke Jr. of Chattanooga, TN, Brenda Bagonis of Warrington PA, and Lynn Kane of Litchfield Beach SC; 6 grandchildren, Tony Bagonis, Kristin Bagonis, Amy Stanley, Rachel Inman, Robert Kane, and Stephanie Kane.
